NEW LONDON, CT — Democrats won all 14 available seats on the City Council and Board of Education in municipal elections held Tuesday, according to The New London Day. Voter turnout was low at 18%. The following candidates were on the ballot: City Council Democrats: Efrain Dominguez Jr., Reona M. Dyess, Carmen Jocelyn Rosario, John Satti, James Burke, Martha Marx, Akil Peck Republicans: John W. Russell, Aaron Ide, Marty Olsen, Michael F. Hudson, Kysim L. Thompson, Rashad Umrani Green Party: Kris Wraight, Eddie Long Board of Education Democrats: Nathan Caron, Elaine Maynard-Adams, Danni Cruz, Frank A.
