Ten units in the nine-story complex at Pine and Bank streets called "The Nest" will be offered at rents within the budgets of low- and middle-income residents. The Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development awarded the project $480,000 in re-allocated sales tax receipts in response to the surging demand for affordable housing downtown.
