Marine Field Tech @ Freedom Boat Club Love working outside? Love the water? Love boating? Freedom Boat Club is the nation's oldest and largest private member boat club and we are currently looking to add Marine Field Techs to our fleet team. The positions will be full-time. Our home base shop is in tacoma, our locations are spread around the puget sound. from Everette, to Olympia, to pulsbo. 10 locations total! OVER 137 BOATS AND GROWING!!! About Freedom Boat Club Service department: As the service department we are responsible for all maintenance work on over 137 vessels across the Puget Sound. We ensure the highest standards of work as we continue to be one of the largest/fastest growing boat clubs in the country. Having expanded to 10 clubs within the last 5 years around Washington our goal is to increase the number of vessels as well as our team of excellent staff. Work Experience: Mechanical knowledge prefered not requiered. Knowledge of 12v electrical, rigging, and outboard diagnostics a PLUS! Towing of large trailers with boats desirable. A love of boats, and boating experiance is desierable. Know how to work safely in a shop environment, maintain a clean work environment, and adhere to required safety policies. Other Requirements: Must be a team player. Must be a self-starter and capable of working unsupervised. Ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity. Good attention to detail. High School degree. Good understanding of keeping electronic records such as services etc. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be at least 21 years old.
