GREENWICH, CT — Election Day is finally here, and residents have been hitting the polls across the state to make their voices heard, especially in Greenwich.
As of 6:15 p.m., according to the Greenwich Registrar of Voters live turnout tracker, 14,925 Greenwich residents have voted out of 41,544 eligible voters — good for a 35.95 percent turnout rate. Absentee ballots must be counted as well.
There are a number of key races taking place in Greenwich. The polls are set to close statewide at 8 p.m., and results should trickle-in afterwards.
