One Burned In Joppatowne Fire, Officials Say

JOPPA, MD — One person was hospitalized as the result of a fire in Joppa Tuesday night, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. At 5:45 p.m., crews said they were called to the 100 block of Plaza Circle, where they found smoke showing from a two-story townhouse. Crews took one person to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Joppa-Magnolia officials said. The victim suffered second-degree burns to the face and arms and was in stable condition, according to authorities.
