Nov. 2 Election Results About 81,925 Travis County residents voted on Election Day, which resulted in a 21.57 percent turnout for the county, according to the Travis County Clerk's office. Austinites who flocked to the polls overwhelmingly shut down Prop A with more than 102,000 voting no on the proposition, which would have required the city of Austin to hire at least two police officers for every 1,000 residents.
