Here are the top stories today in Denver: The Denver school board election determines whether a union-backed majority on the board "consolidates power or faces new pushback," Chalkbeat reports. Four candidates — all of whom are backed by the teachers union — were leading in unofficial voting returns Tuesday. Here are early voting results. (Chalkbeat)Federal health officials gave the final clearance Tuesday for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for kids ages 5 to 11. The Food and Drug Administration already cleared the kids' vaccine dose, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention gave the final signoff.
