Description
I'll tell you what it sounds like first. I've been describing it as somewhere in between hard rock and metal. Vocals that are mostly clean and melodic, heavy guitar riffs and tones with the occasional guitar harmony and solo, big gritty bass that often diverges from the guitars, and huge rock drums that tie it all together with groove. It's music for fans of tasteful heavy music in the vein of old school Thrice, A Perfect Circle, and Cave In.
Here's an announcement video I made:

I wrote, performed, recorded, and mixed it all myself in my home studio. I've been getting nothing but positive feedback about this music, so I'd like to put a band together to play it live.
My plan is to handle lead vocals and (mostly) rhythm guitar. To be upfront, I'm a drummer first, and this is my first time trying out the front man role. So we will be learning and figuring things out together. But the vision is there and I will work at it until it's tight and right. Looking for others who will do the same.
I'm currently looking for:
- (mostly) lead guitar
- bass
- drums
Backing vocals would be a big plus, but they're definitely not required.
And in the future, it'd be cool if it became less of a solo project thing and more of a collaborative band thing. I made the solo album more as a for myself, but I do enjoy the traditional creative process.
If you're interested, email me with the instrument(s) you'd like to try out for and a sample of your playing (crappy voice memos are okay).
