Meet Piper! Breed: shepherd mix. Age: est 3 years. Weight: 40lbs. Training: leash, crate, and house trained. Knows sit, and treat/toy motivated. Good with other dogs? Depends on the dog. She does great co-existing with a laid back German Shepherd in her foster home. She needs slow introduction with new dogs. She would do best as an only dog. She doesn't like dogs that don't respect her space. She does fine coexisting with other dogs in her foster home. Good with adults/kids? Yes. Personality: friendly & affectionate. Reason for rescue: owner moved to help care for elderly parent, and landlord Will not allow pets. Piper is now spayed, heartworm negative, and current on all vaccinations and preventatives.
