LHS Football Playoffs: Lemont Faces Springfield In Second Round

LEMONT, IL — After last week's victory against Kennedy High School, the Lemont High School boys' football team will play Springfield High School in the second round of the IHSA Class 6A playoffs. Lemont defeated Kennedy 45-0 on Oct. 29 in the first round of playoffs, and are now 10-0. LHS will face Springfield High School, which has a 7-3 record, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday in Springfield, according to the IHSA website. The winner of Friday's game will advance to the quarterfinals of playoffs and face the winner of the Richards High School and East St. Louis match-up.
