During this Millbrae City Council meeting, Councilman Reuben Holober was excused from the night's meeting.
The Millbrae City Council presented a proclamation proclaiming the month of November 2021 as National American Indian Heritage Month.
The City Council received a presentation on the Millbrae Education Foundation on their upcoming Readathon events.
The City Council approved, on a vote of 4-0-1, items 5, 6, 8, and 10 on the consent calendar.
Item 5 – Adoption of a Resolution Finding That The Proclaimed State Of Emergency Continues To Impact The Ability To Meet Safely In Person And Declaring that the City Council and City Commissions and Committees Will Continue to Meet Remotely In Order to Ensure the Health and Safety of the Public.
Item 6 – Receive and File Monthly General Fund Financial Report for the Period Ending September 30, 2021.
Item 7 –The City Council received a report and update on the design and construction of the Millbrae Recreation Center.
Item 8 – Adoption of a Resolution Establishing Salary Ranges for Part-time, Temporary and Seasonal Classifications in Compliance with California State Minimum Wage Law Effective January 1, 2022.
Item 9 – The City Council, approved, on a vote of 4-0-1, a resolution appropriating funds in the amount of $60,000 from the General Plan Maintenance Fund to fund the preparation of a zoning ordinance to implement SB 9.
