OAKDALE, MN — Though there are no local offices up for election, Oakdale residents will find out this week if two ballot measures related to school funding were approved or not. The funds in question would go to School District No. 622, which includes North St. Paul, Maplewood, and Oakdale. Residents of all three cities were asked to vote on the two proposals. The first question asked voters to renew the school district's existing referendum revenue authorization of $206.83 per pupil. The second question asked voters to approve a capital project levy that will raise an estimated $30,000,000 over 10 years. That money would be spent on curriculum materials and technology.
