Press release from the City of Mentor: November 1st, 2021 The City of Mentor is accepting resumes/applications for the following volunteer positions: Three (3) electors of the City of Mentor to serve a 4-Year Term on the Board of Building & Zoning Appeals ending 12/31/2025. Four (4) electors of the City of Mentor to serve a 4-Year Term on the Municipal Planning Commission ending 12/31/2025. Two (2) electors of the City of Mentor to serve a 4-Year Term on the Civil Service Commission ending 12/31/2025. Eight (8) electors of the City of Mentor to serve 3-Year Terms on the Community Arts Commission ending 12/31/2024. One (1) elector of the City of Mentor to serve a 3-Year Term on the Fair Housing Board ending 12/31/2024. Two (2) citizens to serve a 2-Year Term on the Income Tax Board of Review ending 12/31/2023 One (1) elector of the City of Mentor to serve a 4-Year Term on the Tree Commission ending 12/31/2025. Per Mentor Code of Ordinances Sec. 115.28, persons seeking appointment to a position must submit an application and résumé to the Clerk of Council.  Deadline for submission is 5:00 p.m., December 15, 2021.
