Warehouse worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This is a physically demanding role. Responsibilities: -Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) -Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) -Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits -Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization -Report any discrepancies -Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers -Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles, equipment, and machines -Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations -Stacking boxes neatly and uniformly, upwards of 52” tall -Using basic tools to adjust machine blades to the specifications needed for the project -Testing resized box specs for quality assurance -Filling out a daily production sheet based on daily completed work at 100% accuracy -Using strapping tools to band down completed product -Separating recyclable materials from landfill materials into separate bins -Identifying damage (cuts, dirt, soiling, tears, holes, etc) through inspection of boxes, removing them, and stacking separately -Stacking boxes extremely neatly and correctly -Keep up with production quotas on a daily, weekly, and pay period basis -Keeping your work area, as well as the entire warehouse, clean, organized, neat, and professional -Keeping all work areas stocked with appropriate items, such as labels, strap, seals, and pens -General cleaning which includes, but is not limited to bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces -Any other odd jobs or tasks designated by management UsedCardboardBoxes & UCBZeroWaste (UCB) design, implement and manage large-scale waste reduction programs that help companies reduce waste (cost) and increase recycling & reuse (revenue).
