JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — An apartment fire in Center Point Monday night resulted in a child being taken to Children's of Alabama with injuries. The fire occurred at an apartment complex at at 1991 E Bend Circle, according to a WBRC report. The age of the child has not been disclosed, and an update on the child's condition has not been released. The cause of the fire is still unknown, but six units were damaged and more than a dozen occupants have been displaced as a result of this fire.
