Bass player looking to create an original/modern Pink Floyd ish band

Hi there, I guess the headline says it all. I'd really like to write, cut an album and play out asap with an original project in the vein of "A modern Pink Floyd". What does that mean? I really don't know, haha. I suppose I'm just looking for those ambient and beautiful David Gilmour guitar tones, keyboards, simple yet powerful and intense drums, well-crafted lyrics with choruses you can sing along to, and who knows...maybe 3 female back up singers and dancers, haha. That might be rushing things. :) Just to clarify, not a Pink Floyd cover/tribute band. It's just a reference. I really want big lights, strobes, background images behind the stage...that whole thing. Anyways, I'm Marky, 43 years old, and have been playing bass for 20 years. Recently moved back to Rochester after 17 years in Seattle, Los Angeles and a few other places on the West Coast. I have an old website here - https://markadinitto.wixsite.com/markydinitto. Everything on there is from within the last 10 years or so. It has some random songs, photos, etc. I'd say I'm a more polished and mature player these days, but It'll give you a better idea about me. The music on there isn't really representative of what I'm going for here, just stuff from the past. I'd love it if we could all be in the same age range...30's and early 40's. Don't mean to be vein about things. I just think the project would be better received this way. If this sounds interesting, let me know! I kind of threw myself out here a bit, so I'll hope you'll do the same with a website, social media or something as well. Thanks!
