AM Shift PM Shift Over Night Shift The Spirit of the Position: The Customer Service Representative- CBX greets and creates a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients. Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills. A team player and can help motivate your team. What will I do? Reliable and punctual attendance is paramount to this position. Greet customer by name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base. Assist customers in lobbies, lanes, and in the parking office; help direct traffic. Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude. Understand bridge access requirements and guide customers through the appropriate process. Understand and guide customers through Mexican immigration customs. Able to understand and follow strict CBX/U.S. customs and immigration policies and guidelines. Oversee general maintenance of the garage, ensuring all areas are clean and safe– sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, changing light bulbs, etc.- report all safety hazards to management. Report any malfunctioning parking equipment to management to ensure appropriate access to customers. Work with a sense of urgency and demonstrate the ability to complete task in an accurate and timely manner When assigned, is able to complete the responsibilities associated with other related roles such as concierge desk, bridge access, bridge end, porter, information booth, ground transportation, traffic director, lot attendant, etc. Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required. Experience: Strong customer service experience. Cash handling experience is preferred but not required. Parking industry experience is preferred but not required. Intermediate computer literacy is preferred. Bilingual with English and Spanish is highly desired. Reliable transportation to and from job site is required. Skills: Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations. Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations. Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language. Must be able to make decisions independently and exercise sound judgment. Must be available any day of the week, shift as follows 5:00A- 1:30 PM (20-25 hours per week) Requirements: Positions at this location require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 Physical Demands: Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours a day. Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift. Ability to apply pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. Ability to perform functions that require repetitive motions using hands, wrists, arms, legs, ankles, knees and hips. Ability to express or exchange information, instructions, ideas, etc. by means of the spoken word. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound.
