Description

We are looking for an "experienced" Maintenance Technician for a large apartment community in North County. The role of the technician is to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of the property on the inside and out while providing excellent customer service to our residents. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, reliable and detail orientated team player with a can-do attitude. Schedule:  8 hour shift- 8-5 (may change based on property needs)  Tuesday - Saturday (may change based on property needs)  On call rotation- 2 wks/month (may be less or more based on property needs)  Some overtime required for after hour emergencies Experience:  2 + years in apartment maintenance or other "closely related" field Responsibilities:  Perform work within OSHA health and safety standards and utilizing proper PPE  Treat residents, vendors and co-workers with courtesy and respect  Perform service requests in timely manner and providing excellent customer service  Completion of vacant apartment make-readies in timely and detail orientated manner (touch up and full painting of apartments required as necessary)  Diagnose and repair household appliances, wall heater and AC units  Assist in preventative maintenance tasks and other property projects assigned  Assist in inventory control and maintaining an organized maintenance shop  Completion of general maintenance tasks as assigned, including but not limited to- plumbing, electricity, painting, drywall, locks, appliances, pools & spas, and life-safety equipment.  Assist in amenity and grounds upkeep, cleaning, and overall curb appeal  Assist vendors when necessary, in a professional manner  Maintain open communication with Manager and Maintenance Supervisor  Ability to operate a golf cart in a safe manner  Represents Euston Management in a professional manner and maintains a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (non-smoking)  Complete online monthly training classes as required Skills:  Proven experience as a maintenance technician  A positive attitude, willingness to learn and can take direction from Supervisors  Ability to work well with a team and on own
