Olympus Communication Inc. was established in 2005 & now has opening for tower technicians and tower climbers. You must have the ability to climb and perform work at heights up to 300 feet for extended periods of time, lift up to 60 pounds, be safety conscious, and have a strong work ethic. Our Tower Climber positions do not require experience—we offer on-the-job training to qualified candidates. This position will be a climbing technician in a team of 4. Primary focus will be on installation of wireless technologies, tower construction, grounding, etc. Position may also include maintenance of same technologies. • Competitive salary and healthcare benefits, paid vacations/holidays. • Starting hourly rate is $17+ and will be based on your experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Will be required to climb and work on towers • Will install and remove antennas, radio equipment, cabling, and associated hardware REQUIREMENTS/SAFETY: • Ability to work extended hours at height • Ability to lift up to 60lbs • Acceptable driving and criminal record • Ability to adhere to all safety protocol • Basic mechanical skills • Experience climbing towers not needed COMMUNICATION SKILLS: • Good written and verbal communication skills • Basic computer skills KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: • Company will provide required paid training: Authorized Climber & Competent Climber/Rescue certification, OSHA Construction 10 HR Safety Training program, First Aid and CPR certification TRAVEL: • Limited overnight travel may be required. • Per diem provided • Company Paid Hotel rooms provided BENEFITS: • 401(k) • 401(k) 5% matching • Dental insurance 100% company paid • Health insurance 100% company paid • Paid time off 12 vacation & 3 personal (After 1 Year)
