I'm curious to see if it's possible to get about 25 people together so we can combine money to purchase rental properties as a long term investment. A basic example of how this would work is we create an LLC together. We open up a bank account under the LLC (which means we all own it) and we each deposit about $5300 into it. This would be about $132k which is enough to purchase a $400k house. We rent it out and let the tenants pay the remaining balance so after 30 years the house is fully paid off and worth about $550k. Our individual $5300 investment grew to over $22,000 per person. If all goes well with the first property we can repeat the process over and over.
