1 Yr Old Pit Mix for Adoption

Handsome brindle pitty mix looking for a new home that has experience with dogs. Lowkee (Loki if you must) is the sweetest lovebug who always wants to be snuggled. He turned 1 year old on Oct 15th, and I have found myself in a position where I cannot give him the care that he needs. I am not a 'leader of the pack' type as much as my trainer has tried to teach me how.  Low needs a home with ideally other dogs that love to play, a fenced in yard he can hunt rodents in (he has killed 1 mouse so far), and no farm animals for him to get at. He loves doing tricks for a treat, and playing with his human companions. I've highly socialized him, and he does great at the dog park. He is sincerely a wonderful dog.   His trouble areas: he has separation anxiety, but I have a good day care/overnight spot that he is familiar with by Mt Pisgah. He is battling fear aggression and protective tendencies against new people that come to the home. He is currently living in a big home of roommates and will bark, but settle when he recognizes the individual as safe. Has a high prey drive towards chickens/ducks and has gotten 4 but we always got to him before doing serious damage.   If you are interested in meeting him, I would like to meet at a dog park so you can see how he interacts with people and dogs. Then a home visit at your place to see how he does within your environment.
