PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain the safety of yourself, your co-workers, and customers per the Drake policies and procedures. - Communicate effectively with scale operators, oversee their training, provide regular coaching, evaluations, and performance feedback. - Implement and monitor quality assurance measures for processes. - Address complaints and resolve problems in a timely manner. - Assist in product sales, customer relations, and billing for internal and external customers. - Maintain aggregates materials product knowledge necessary to answer customer questions. - Weigh and ticket trucks, ensuring tickets are verified for accuracy. - Provide excellent customer service, process payments, and monitor loads of material coming in and out of the plant. - Prepare daily shipping summaries and submit tickets for processing in a timely manner. - Properly document and provide the MSHA site-specific literature to be signed as it pertains to Drake policies. - Coordinate with customers and pit operators to facilitate and expedite loading of material into trucks. - Track levels of products to ensure sufficient materials are in stock to fill orders. - Any and all other duties required by supervisor or management. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: - High School Diploma or GED is required. - Two or more years of dispatch/weigh master experience - Experience at an Aggregates operation preferred. - Prior supervisory experience is a plus. - Ability to keep time and material records. - Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English. - Solid written and verbal communication skills.
