Description

This position requires full manual dexterity; ability to kneel; stoop/bend; push/pull; lift/carry/move items up to 45lbs., as tasks requiring these abilities may occur repeatedly throughout the workday. It is necessary for applicants to speak and hear clearly and see properly with corrective lenses if necessary. Must be able to read basic instructions and can writing clearly in English. Must be able to work outdoors in variable temperatures, that include wind, rain, cold and extreme heat. Must have good reasoning skills and be mentally alert and detail orientated too. Physically strong & agile. Has a clear understanding of methods as they relate to materials and knows how to operate hand & power tools and other equipment used in facility maintenance work. Able to operate trucks and light motorized equipment. Will perform duties that require clearing walkways; cleaning & organizing all areas and furniture around pools, Tennis courts; parking areas; driving range; driveways; gate accesses; and gutters and drains. Maintains daily fuel and fluid levels for all types of equipment and reports equipment problems and/or failure to department manager. Performs minor repairs, like painting certain areas throughout the property and other miscellaneous duties that arise from day to day.
