Hey there, We are looking for a bassist to write and play music with us. I play the drums and my friend plays guitar. We're in our 30's and we've been playing together for about 6 months. We listen to a lot of genres; I'm really into a lot of video game music as well as the standard fare of alternative rock, punk, and electronic/rap music (basically everything). My guitarist friend is really into spaced-out indie/ambient stuff like Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed you black emperor, and others. Together our music-making equates to a dynamic mix of hard and soft, with some punk vibes as well. We'd love to have a talented bassist join us so we can build this project into something neat and get out and play some shows in Austin. And in case you have talent in other musical instruments (such as keys or vocals), we're certainly open to those too.
