Job description Job Description: iSpec LLC has an opening for an experienced residential remodeler. Ideal candidates will have experience in windows and doors, framing, drywall, flooring, tile, rough and finish carpentry. Whole house remodels will be performed on a regular basis, and it will be important that ideal candidate can follow the construction schedule. Multi-site opportunity, as this position will work in homes in the Columbus metropolitan area. This job does NOT require long commutes to job sites. You would be working with a 2-4 man crew depending on the scope of work. Not all job sites are full remodels. Job duties/responsibilities: Experience in residential remodeling required. Framing experience is ideal. Skills also in high demand: Constructing the formwork for placement of concrete, sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, laying tile, drywall, kitchens, bathrooms, drilling & other duties as assigned by supervisor. • Ensure job meets all standards and specifications. • Ensure job is performed following policies and procedures. • Properly follow all company policies for safe working procedures and environment • Read plans and recognize discrepancies. • Insure safe working conditions for crew. • Properly maintain equipment. • Insure effective communication between employees and supervisors. • Perform tasks properly and in a timely manner. • Performs other related duties and assignments as required. • Maintain records as required for grading operation • Report on progress to managers, engineers etc. To be considered: Qualified candidates must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects. Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs. Must have a valid drivers license, and able to work outside. Punctuality and promptness is expected. Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract Pay: $25-$35/hr. + $600 Sign on bonus after 90 days, additional $800 bonus after 6 months
