Hey hey all! 37-year-old experienced guitarist, vocalist and songwriter here looking to find some musicians in Montgomery County (or nearby) and possibly get an original band up and running. I'm new to town and have a good bit of free time right now. I've got loads of experience on stage and in the studio and love to create original music. There's no better feeling than taking a simple jam and turning it into a kickass song. Influences include but are definitely not limited to: Classic rock (Zeppelin, Floyd, Doors, CCR, etc.), Brit pop (Oasis, Radiohead, Blur), 2000s garage rock (Hives, Strokes, Jet), and assorted other bands like the Chili Peppers, Kings of Leon, the Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Weezer, U2, and a whole host of others. I don't really do metal or country, but other than that I'm into everything. I don't have a practice space but am willing to pitch in $$$ if we have to rent a spot. Reliable transportation, lots of pro-level gear, and a good f'n attitude :) Let's do this!
