If you have lost a pet they will text you and demand half the reward money upfront before meeting you, but will not be able to provide any confirmation of your missing pet (will say their phone camera is broken). Just dealt with this today and then talked to a few others in the rescue community that have as well. Just giving a heads up, so no one has to go through extra heartbreak.
