Job Description UMA, GEOTECHNICAL CONSTRUCTION, INC. seeking responsible construction laborers like you, to join our honest and reputable geotechnical construction company. We offer competitive pay, and a generous benefits package. Prefer construction experience but willing to provide the job training to motivated employees. ON THE JOB TRAINING • Help move, set up and operate drilling rigs and related equipment to drill holes for geotechnical construction • Lift drill steel and materials weighing up to 80 lbs • Assist driller in maintenance and repairs to drill rig • Perform duties at multiple job sites • Load and unload trucks • Smoothly and quickly connect and disconnect the lower parts of the drill pipe when it is being lowered into and raised from the hole • Learn to assist the driller in solid stem, casing, down the hole hammer operations and hollow stem auger drilling techniques • Clean and maintain equipment • Help move drilling rigs and equipment from site to site • Set up in new sites • Drive truck REQUIRES A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE Must be willing to travel out of town to work on job sites as directed by management – paid daily per diem – hotel costs – and travel time. Monday through Friday and home most weekends!
