Description
We are looking for a motivated manager who can handle multiple customer accounts with respect and professionalism and supervise our janitorial team of 40 employees.
Management:
Motivate and guide staff on a regular basis.
Employee recruiting, hiring, training, daily supervision as well as discipline and discharges.
Uphold company policies and procedures as well as state/federal laws.
Ability to fill out all necessary payroll/HR paperwork in English/Spanish.
Report and investigate employee issues, violations, accident reports.
Track payroll hours versus scheduled hours.
Work with client on a daily basis to guarantee continued satisfaction.
Conduct monthly audits of customer sites and address quality discrepancies immediately with employees.
Assure employee performance is consistent to prevent employee theft and or misuse of chemicals, supplies, equipment.
Ensure employees have necessary chemicals and supplies to succeed.
Perform cleaning activities as needs arise.
Light janitorial equipment maintenance.
Skills needed:
Flexible schedule availability, good problem-solving skills, detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to balance customer and employee demands.
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong organizational skills.
Hard-working with positive attitude and respectful rapport with employees.
Bilingual English-Spanish is a must.
Smartphone proficient for email, texting and apps.
Requirements:
4+ years of management in janitorial field.
Valid Driver's License and able to drive company vehicles.
Clear background check and pass drug screening.
Pay starts at $68,000.00 per year with additional incentive and bonuses + medical/dental 100% paid, company auto.
