Looking for painter / finisher with relative experience or desire to learn a new marketable skill. This is for a permanent, full-time position with a carpentry company specializing in wooden home improvement products. Skills you will learn: - Prepping & Taping - Sanding & Detailing - Spray Gun (Clear Coat, Stain & Paint) - Make Stain Colors – Color Matching Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to: - Sanding & Detailing Wood Surfaces - Prepping & Taping for Paint or Clear Coating - Staining, Faux-Staining, Etc. - Spraying Paint or Clear Coat - Touch-ups & Repairs of Wood Surfaces Onsite & in Warehouse - Keeping Inventory & Ordering - Cleaning & Organizing Warehouse Ideal Candidate Must Be: - Reliable & Able to Work Weekends and Overtime (IF YOU CANNOT WORK WEEKENDS OR OVERTIME PLEASE DO NOT APPLY) - Attentive to Detail - Lift Heavy Weight - Independent, Self-Starter & Motivated (Without Supervision) - Team Player | Receive & Offer Constructive Criticism - Problem Solver - Work Well Under Pressure - Professional Appearance (Clean, Proper & Polite) - Spanish Speaker is Okay but Preferred Bilingual Spanish/English The ideal candidate will grow within the company and eventually, based on performance, will manage the paint department and additional workers over a period of time. Compensation will be based on experience ($16 - $19/hr. + Sick Days)
