Description
Are you looking for a fun way to give back to your community? Join us at the Meadowbrook Mall to wrap gifts to support the United Way! Each year the Meadowbrook Mall donates space to United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties to host a gift wrapping fundraiser. Members of the Community volunteer to wrap gifts for shoppers during the Christmas Season in exchange for a donation to United Way. United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties supports the community, including 19 partner organizations that provide services such as free health care, free legal services, meals for senior citizens, assistance to child abuse victims, services for children and their families, services for the homeless population and so much more. Please join us this December to help raise money by volunteering to wrap gifts at the Meadowbrook Mall. We are in desperate need of volunteers for Christmas Eve, one of our busiest days at the Gift Wrapping Booth. We are asking members of the community to commit one or two hours to gift wrapping on Friday, December 24, 2021. We need coverage this day from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can use this event to register for one hour shifts. We also need volunteers for other dates. You can "Adopt a Day" by staffing the gift wrapping booth with your friends, family and coworkers. The booth requires coverage from 6-10 hours, depending on the day. We recommend at least two people per shift. Once you adopt a day, you control the schedule for that day, but are required to staff it for the hours listed. You can schedule people to stay the whole day or break the day into two hour shifts, etc. If you are interested in adopting a day, please contact Angela White at [email protected] or 304-623-6649 ext. 2313. (You cannot use this event to "Adopt a Day.") Unable to volunteer Christmas Eve or "Adopt a Day," but still interested in helping? Contact Angela White at 304-623-6649 ext. 2313 or by email at [email protected] to see how you can help! Still have questions about how this works? Feel free to contact Angela White at 304-623-6649 ext. 2313 or by email at [email protected] with any questions.
