Packager - Part Time / Seasonal

We are looking for an individual with fast hands! to package food products. Work experience in food production is helpful but not essential but a willingness to learn is crucial. Duties would include moving extruded bars onto pans; placing bars onto a flowwrapper; placing packaged bars into display boxes; packaging other bakery products; etc. We are a small "family" environment and all get along very well together. Laughter is key here; we are a small congenial and harmonious team. We are too small right now to operate with specific boundaries so for now we all pitch in and do what needs to be done which includes some cleaning. If time allows and your interested, you could assist with baking. While small, we are growing with a plan that offers team members a possible future with the potential for financial incentives. Responsibilities • Packager • Work with extruder to pan bars • Place bars on flowwrapper • Clean kitchen equipment and tools before and after use • Package volume production levels of bars and cookies Skills • Fast and precise hand coordination; • Ability to stand for long periods of time; • Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, extruders, flowwrappers and dough sheeters is helpful but not essential • Understanding of food safety practices is helpful • Excellent time-management skills • Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment • Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude is huge • Certification from a culinary school is a plus but not essential Background check.
