Description

This is a FREE event & registration is required for each child ages 3 - 11. A ticket must be presented to receive a craft bag. Registration will be capped at 1200. Spots will fill up fast! When: Saturday, December 4 from 10am – 2pm Where: Benton County Fairgrounds Solar Building On Saturday, December 4th, from 10am - 2pm, the Rotary Club of Greater Corvallis (the Club that brought you the Halloween Trick-Or-Treat Tunnel) is hosting its 8th Annual Children's Holiday Craft Fair. So, gather your family, buckle up and enjoy the festive "holidaze" displays in our Holly Jolly Tunnel. From the warmth and safety of your own vehicle and from a safe social distance, interact with the many costumed characters you will find dancing throughout the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, each pre-registered child between the ages of 3 - 11 (that is the appropriate age level for the craft activities provided) will receive a bag with a couple of craft activities as well as some holiday treats to take with them. Automobiles only. No foot traffic. You must remain inside your car at all times. If your window is rolled down, you must be wearing masks. One bag per child in the car. This is a free event but registration is required for each child between 3 - 11years old. You must present a ticket to receive a craft bag. The event is being designed with two goals in mind: keeping annual Holiday Craft Fair festivities alive this season, while also keeping volunteers and guests safe. Thus, attendees through the “Holiday tunnel” in the fairgrounds Solar Building may not leave their vehicles at any time during the event. Face coverings must be worn when the windows of the vehicle are open, occupants of a vehicle must be members of the same household or living unit and may not change vehicles during the event, and no motorcycles and bicycles will be permitted. There will be no food or drink offered other than the treats that accompanies the craft bags at the end, no restrooms will be available and there will be a hand sanitizing station and extra masks available. Only prepackaged crafts and goodies will be included in the bags handed out in a sanitary environment by volunteers working with masks and gloves. One bag for each child (with a ticket) in a vehicle will be handed out just before the cars exit the “tunnel” and return to the fairgrounds south parking lot. THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS!
