Let's get in the Holiday Spirit - Join us for a Boxwood Wreath Making Workshop. During this festive workshop we will provide fresh boxwood, a soft-touch wreath frame for everyone and lots of good cheer to get started. You might want to bring your own snips, a pair of gloves and some ribbon to make a bow for your completed wreath. Perhaps, you might even consider turning the workshop into your own holiday event by bringing along some friends to share in the fun. Space is limited to 20 in the workshops because of indoor covid safety precautions so we have increased the number of class we are offering. Classes will be held on Wed. Dec. 1 at 6 p.m., and on Thursday Dec. 2 at 11:30 a.m. and then again at 6 p.m. All classes will be held in the Greenhouse Classroom. If you are unable to attend the workshops or simply want to make another wreath, kits will be available to purchase at our Holiday Greens Sale on Sat. Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to noon. Please note that despite the increased costs of the materials we decided not to raise our workshop cost. Cylburn Arboretum Friends is the 501(c)3 non-profit friends group of Baltimore City's Cylburn Arboretum, enriching and enhancing the arboretum and our community in a variety of ways, and providing nature education programs for people of all ages.
