Join Re:Vision's Promotoras as they teach you how to make Pan de Muerto and the symbolism behind the bread, the holiday, and altars.
Re:Vision's Re:Own Program Director, Yuridia Bahena, has taught Pan de Muerto cooking classes for Re:Vision, the Breckenridge Creative District, and has been featured on various news outlets and local television shows. Not only will she help you create this delicious treat, she will teach you about the historical significance of the bread to Dia de los Muertos, and about the holiday itself. Please bring the whole family for this unique and educational experience as we celebrate the final Domingos en Westwood with our partners at the Hecho en Westwood Collective and local vendors. We will also build a community altar, so please bring photos of loved ones and offerings if you would like to participate.
*This class is great for ALL ages
