GOOD BASSIST NEEDED f/ Serious, Energetic, Variety/ Rock Band

BEFORE REPLYING, please READ this entire post. It can save us all some time likely. ABOUT US: We are a very promising new start up cover group that may likely remain a trio. Based in Roanoke, we currently have an experienced, energetic lead singer /lead guitarist and drummer. With the right, matching, skilled bass player, we will be very capable of having a full sounding quality trio playing a variety of covers and styles. We are already quickly building a good repertoire of songs and it's sounding good. "This does not suck." We are doing a wide variety of covers ranging from hard rock, classic rock, blues, some country, some southern rock, dance-able songs. We love 70's, 80's 90's hard rock like Van Halen, Ozzy, Kiss, Pearl Jam, 3 Doors Down, etc, etc. We also like SRV, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, the Beatles, and well... most of the greats from those eras. Would like to mix it up with country, blues, funk, dance-able songs... variety is the key word here... And throwing some much needed hard rock peoples' way while we are at it. We are also certainly open to newer groups and styles too, but we definitely want to pay tribute to our influences. We'd like to be able to tailor song set lists to different crowds and venues, again variety is key...We want to gig starting off a couple of times a month, maybe more. (Originals are a possibility down the road, we'll see... But we want to faithfully recreate these covers and do them justice. It's fun!) WANTED: a quality bassist with a good ear and good gear ;) Experience is valued and preferred, but will consider someone with less experience who is driven, passionate, and able to learn the songs at home before practices. (The lead guitarist/vocalist will assist some with songs if needed.) You should have videos of you playing either in prior bands, gigs, or of you at home at least. If you are serious and talented, why wouldn't you have online recordings? (Your phone has a video camera, youtube is free... If you are good and you haven't, make some home vids on youtube and send me the links.) Harmony vocal skills is ideal and preferred, but not absolutely required. Weekly band practice is required, no exceptions. Substance abuse will not work in this project or probably any project. You would find that we are very serious with professional attitudes toward making quality music. We are mature, experienced, and have careers and families. SIDE NOTE: We would be also open to a quality keyboardist and/or 2nd guitarist, and even another lead vocalist sharing the vox. However, this guitarist is very happy, capable, and accustom to being the only guitarist in projects so it would have to be a good match ;) The same goes for adding another lead vocalist sharing vocals. Primarily looking for a good bassist with harmony vox skills preferred. Sorry for the length of this post. But I know as much detail as possible is best. Serious inquiries only please.
