Welcome Spring! Celebrate warmer temps with Goat Yoga at Capp Smith Park brought to you by Watauga Parks and Rec! YOU are invited to GOAT YOGA in Watauga! Come and get your yoga on while our tribe of pet goats graze and jump around (or on) you. Please come dressed for the weather as the goats and the event will be outside! Proceeds directly benefit the animals and their humans. Know before you go: *Please do not enter the goat yoga area any earlier than 10-15 minutes before your scheduled goat yoga class time. We will set aside time after class for extra socializing and picture taking with the goats if you don't get the shot you want during yoga practice! *BYOM (bring your own yoga mat) or bring a large towel. We do not provide mats. We will have towels available to use, first come first serve. Please also bring water. *Be prepared for our goats to take an interest in you! They are excited to be with you! Goat yoga is for everyone and we welcome any and all participants over the age of 5. It is meant to be fun and memorable. Goats have been known to nudge, scratch, nibble, jump and step on attendees. Goats are NOT potty trained animals. There will be a sanitizing station and antibacterial wipes. *Everyone will need to check in and sign a liability waiver before the class starts. You will need to complete a COVID form. Masks are not required. This is an outdoor fitness event. Social distancing will be the responsibility of each participant in regards to his or her own preferences in proximity to other attendees. You agree not to hold the goat yoga organization, the owners, the venue, its employees, volunteers, instructors and/or representatives responsible in any way for any injury or occurrence whatsoever. All incidents and/or injuries must be reported before leaving the premises. You are solely responsible for all items brought on premise. No other animals allowed. No children under the age of 5 permitted in the fenced off goat yoga area. If you have questions regarding service animals, please email us at least 48 hours before your scheduled class.
