I’m a sousaphone player passionate about the brass band styles of Nola. I love that funky driving sound a la Rebirth Brass Band, Soul Rebels, Dirty Dozen, New Orleans Nightcrawlers, etc. I’ve been playing tuba for 15 years and have experience playing gigs. I live in Portland and have a rehearsal space available in Vancouver. I think there is real potential for gigging opportunities in the area for this style band.
