This is a community event that consists of service providers and residents to discuss issues that impact our families and find resolutions. We are hosting our first community outreach series , " Making Uncomfortable Conversations Comfortable" and our discussion is going to be "Sexual Abuse and your Rights as Survivors". We are going to have a panel that will discuss what resources are available for survivors and the process it takes to get the services needed. We are Nonprofit Organization that advocates for individuals and families victimized by violent crimes. We want to bring awareness to the effects of becoming a Crime Survivor and to inform the community of services that are available to them to help cope with such trauma in a positive and healthy ways. We assist in applying for Victim Compensation, which is funding that is available to assist families victimized by violent crimes.
