Join us on Tuesday, November 9th from 6:00-8:30PM at Fork Food Lab in Portland, ME, for a hands on Introduction to Canning & Preserving! Join UMaine Cooperative Extension Educator and Master Preserver, Kate McCarty, in the Fork Food Lab Kitchen on Tuesday, November 9th from 6:00-8:30PM for a hands on introduction to canning and preserving apples. Co-Sponsored by Maine Foodscapes and the Cumberland County Food Security Council, participants are invited to join us to transform the abundance of Maine apples into delicious shelf stable apple sauce and applie pie filling for your use during the coming months! This workshop is intended to provide a fun skill-sharing opportunity for community members.
