We look forward to welcoming you to VINS, after dark! As the longest night of the year approaches, VINS invites you to celebrate December’s full moon; the Cold Moon, with a special nighttime experience at the Nature Center. Ring in the holiday season with a stroll on our illuminated Forest Canopy Walk and gaze at the stars from the top of our 100’ Treehouse platform. Warm up by the campfire with a s’more or cup of cocoa and take in the nighttime air with a moonlit walk on our nature trails before wishing our birds goodnight. Details: This event is entirely outdoors and attendees should plan to dress for the weather and bring their own flashlights. If there is snow cover, VINS will have snowshoes available for use at no cost, donations for snowshoe use gratefully accepted. Visitors are welcome to bring their own snowshoes.
