The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau will host the SATW Central States Chapter Meeting during Mardi Gras, Feb. 23-27, 2022. Shreveport-Bossier, Louisiana welcomes SATW Central States Chapter members to northwest Louisiana during Mardi Gras 2022. Registrants will experience a multi-generational Mardi Gras celebration, an authentic taste of the 318 food scene, unique journeys in Sportsman's Paradise and more. As the capital of the Ark-La-Tex, a tri-state region that includes Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas, first-time visitors will see Louisiana's spicy culture up close and personal and delve into a world of influences from the neighboring states. For familiar faces, you'll rediscover your love for the SBC in less than a week and take on new adventures you missed during your last visit. From a new remote island venue to cushy location along the Mardi Gras parade route, exciting stories are lurking at every corner. The first 40 active members who register will receive up to $400 in travel reimbursement. Proof of mileage or flight costs must be presented to receive the reimbursement.
