Every month Jonny Mojo (Achilles Wheel) and Gary Campus (Deadbeats) assemble a cast of the finest musicians from around the region to conjure lightning in a bottle. This lineup is one of the most exciting we’ve ever had. After selling out Red Rocks with Billy & The Kids and jamming with Santana, we’re thrilled to welcome back one of our favorite artists - Reed Mathis. You know him as a genius of the bass, but he’s spent the last few years focusing a lot on guitar which is what he’ll be playing on this occasion. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Bird, Monk and Trane, Reed is never content to settle for the ordinary. Brace yourselves for the sparks that will fly when these two gingers share the stage. We always feel like we’ve hit the jackpot when Scott Guberman (Phil Lesh & Friends) signs up on keys. This is one of the most tasteful players around, collaborating with breathtaking fluidity no matter who he’s with. Gubes’ comprehensive grasp of the entire Grateful Dead and Jerry catalogs ensures that the sky is always the limit when he’s in the mix. Rounding out the lineup is Burt Lewis (Jerry’s Middle Finger) on bass. He’s like the Tarzan of the low end, swinging from branch to branch with a calculated recklessness.
