LAHDAC will be hosting Amy Bluemel, a Storyteller and Artist who is a registered member of the Chickasaw tribe. Join LAHDAC in commemorating Native American Heritage Month and learn from storyteller and artist, Amy Bluemel. Bluemel will be sharing the language, history, culture, stories, and a large variety of Native artifacts from the Chickasaw tribe. We will also be making corn-husks dolls for those who attend in person. This event will be hosted in person at the Multicultural Engagement Center, 1. 102, in the Student Activity Center building and streamed through zoom. Light refreshments will be served.
