Wreaths Across America Wreath Laying Ceremony-Miramar National Cemetery
Please join us as we remember our fallen veterans with our annual remembrance ceremony as we carry out our mission to:
REMEMBER ~ Our fallen US Veterans HONOR ~ Those who serve TEACH ~ Your children the value of Freedom
This is a family event and volunteers under the age of 10 should be accompanied by an adult. A formal ceremony starts at 9:00 AM SHARP, lasts 40 minutes.
The Ceremony includes: • Posting of Colors • The National Anthem • Welcoming remarks • Guest speakers • Rifle Honors Detail • Retirement of Colors • Volunteer wreath placement instructions.
Parking can be limited so arrival by 7:45 AM is best. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended, as this takes place regardless of weather.
Please plan to wear red, white, and blue. This is a great opportunity for us to show our support for our country and for our nation’s veterans by dressing in patriotic colors.
For those seeking community service hours, you will need to report your total volunteer hours to the VALOR coordinator and your organization.
