A interactive candle-lit tour of four historic buildings led by costumed guides, featuring all-natural holiday decorations. Two ticket options are available. The Yuletide By Lanternlight ticket is for Friday's tour only, to be held Dec. 3rd, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Historic Halifax State Historic Site. An optional Combination Ticket includes admission to Yuletide By Lanternlight AND admission to the Enfield Historic Christmas Homes Tour, to be held the following day, Sat., Dec. 4th, from 1 p.m to 5 p.m. in nearby Enfield, NC. Check-in for Yuletide By Lanternlight is required at the registration table, beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Fri. Dec. 3rd at Historic Halifax State Historic Site, 25 Saint David St. Halifax, NC. Check-in closes at 7:00 p.m. Guests must begin tour by 7 p.m. to allow time to see all buildings. Check-in for Saturday's Enfield tour will also be available for Combination Ticket holders at the Halifax check-in table. Refunds will not be given for "no-shows". Tour will be held rain or shine. Covid-19 Precautions: Masks are required inside each building and outside whenever physical distancing between households is not possible. Hand sanitizer will be available. Building tours are designed with a one-direction traffic flow. A maximum of 8 people will be allowed in each building at one time. Purchase of ticket(s) acknowledges that masks are required for entry into all tour buildings.
