Join us for our 9th Annual Random Acts of Kindness Alliance Give Back Day! A fun & heartwarming day performing acts of kindness together! Welcome to our 9th Annual RAKA Give Back Day! We are so excited to meet in person to perform some Random and not so Random Acts of Kindness together! Thank you for volunteering with us! Here is a little insight into what you are signing up for:First, everyone is invited! There is no age limit or experience needed! We will start and end our day at the Sorensen Alliance building in Temecula. 43521 Ridge Park Drive, Temecula, CA 92590 Upon arrival all volunteers will check in with our RAKA Team. Once checked in you will get a special T-Shirt to wear so you can stand out in the community as a RAKA Crew Member! You will be assigned to a Team of Do-Gooders with an experienced RAKA Team Leader. You and your team will have a list of things to do, places to go and acts of service to perform. The goal of this Give Back Day is to make a BIG POSITIVE and FUN impact on and in our community and to leave the day with a happy heart. 8:45 am - 9:15 am - Registration and continental breakfast9:15 am - 10:00 am - Instructions and Team Meetings10:00 am - 1:00 pm - Community Service Projects, Tasks & Acts of Kindness1:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Lunch and RAKA Wrap Up PresentationThese times are approximate. If you can not be here the whole tiime do not worry! We will make the most of whatever time you can be with us! Just let us know at registration and inform your team lead. If you’re not ready to get together in person just yet or 12/11/21 is already a busy day for you, let us know. We have other volunteer opportunities for you! If you are out of the area or can’t join us in person but still want to support our mission of kindness we are collecting TARGET, WALMART, AMAZON GIFT CARDS (in any denomination) and other items and supplies. Your donation could be tax deductable, upon request one of the charities we are supporting will send you a donation letter! Over the last 9 years our RAKA Crew has blessed a ton of people and helped fill the needs of many of our local non-profit organizations. Check out our RAKA logo and you will see that our mission is to serve children, families, veterans, people facing homelessness and of course our four legged friends. Our group is dedicated to help anyone in need and this is not just limited to one day of the year. Last year the RAKA crew had to pivot and figure out how to help people during the pandemic. We joined forces with Hope’s Community Closet and made the Christmas Wishes come true for 200+ kiddos and their families in the Temecula Valley at our first Drive Thru Holiday Event. We even got Santa Claus to join in on the fun and helped us spread cheer and surprised the kids. So many people donated items and helped behind the scenes. It was great but we are really looking forward to our traditional RAKA Give Back Day where we we will surprise people in the community and help our local charities in person!
