Meet up to plant 35 trees in Pomona! Event is open to all, no experience required. Must have planting buddy to sign-up. Join Green Crew & the City of Pomona to plant in our community forest! We will be planting approximately 35 trees & need 50 volunteers. All community members welcome, no previous experience necessary. Come out & be a part of your urban forest! **Sign up ONLY if you have a planting buddy (or 2). Trees are planted in small groups of approx. 2-3 people. Everyone must wear masks for registration & planting demo.** Tree plantings are family-friendly and lots of fun! These trees will provide so many benefits for decades to come -- including cleaner air, cooler temperatures, + shade! Please bring reusable water bottles to stay hydrated + personal shovels and gloves, if available. Limited quantity of tools to check out. More details will be provided closer to the date.
