Raising money to help those in need Passion to the Streets is excited to announce our Firehouse Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday November 6th from 9:00 to noon at 611 Escobar St, Martinez. No need to pay in advance, just pay for the meals at the event. Discount for children. Chef Dave Krider will be cooking up mountains of pancakes in the wonderful kitchen at The Firehouse Brew & Grill. Dave's pancakes are so light and fluffy that they try to float away, but we'll make sure that yours are properly plated with bacon and eggs. Please join us for a wonderful breakfast where we'll have great indoor an outdoor seating and plenty of parking. There's no better way to start a Saturday than a family friendly breakfast. There will also be bar service featuring coffee, juices, mimosas, bloody marys, and other eye-openers to kick off your weekend. We raise funds to help those in need, from low-income and/or homeless families to seniors struggling with tight budgets and escalating costs. Much of what we do is to directly provide food, and we are most well known for that, but we also help with special needs directly or through partnering with other agencies. Passion to the Streets Inc is a non-profit community homeless outreach organization, serving students and families without homes. We firmly believe that improving community health begins at the earliest stages of life. Our annual car show raises money for homeless students in local schools, and supports meals for family shelters.  The cost of running the show is covered by our sponsors, so that 100% of the proceeds from the show go directly to helping students and families.  Our programs are 100% volunteer staffed, so your contributions have the maximum impact.  Most of the money is raised from donations, a raffle, and a silent auction.  Your generosity is much appreciated!
