I have lived life to the fullest according to the world’s standards. I’ve got a loving supportive husband, live in a nice house, have a beautiful family, drive nice cars, wear nice clothes. I guess as some say I have, “the finer things of life.” For many years I was on the merry-go-round of life. My mind nauseously spinning around while I felt like I was drowning. Not every day but most of them. On the outside, I put on my best smile, gathered my composure, flipped on the light switch to shine for all those around me, but my inside was as empty and dark as a hidden cave. I grew tired, burned out, and broken to the point that escape seemed like the only answer. But God…would gently remind me of the hope I have in Him. While my head believed all of this, my heart couldn’t catch up with the merry-go-round. I felt like my heart was going to burst at the same time as my head exploded from life. A good life I might add. I knew something had to give. One day, my sister mentioned to me she had just gotten off the phone with her life coach. I was intrigued. We are never perfect enough, yet we are perfectly imperfect as we fulfill our purpose in His perfect will. After speaking with my sister for a while, I came to the conclusion that this was the something I was looking for. I signed up with a life coach as soon as possible. Life coaching gave me the freedom to say out loud without judgment what my heart and head were feeling. Coaching was my segway to the discovery of my purpose. To believe the truths that God's word says about me. To help me navigate to the next season of life. Coaching has freed me to confidently live the life and purpose God created me for. My pathway to a purpose-filled life, my best life. I became a life coach to walk with people on their journey to discover who they truly are. To help them find clarity in their purpose; to find the strength and confidence to conquer the mountain that towers above them, and to calm the chaos and trade overwhelmed with joy and peace as an overcomer.
